Google’s App Engine was announced in April 2008. It is a platform that allows you to develop and host web applications in Google data centers. This was the company’s first cloud computing service. In November 2011, the service was made generally available. Google has added many cloud services to its App Engine platform since the launch of App Engine.

- Cloud Run – A compute execution environment based upon Knative. Available as Cloud Run (fully managed] and as Cloud Run For Anthos. Currently supports GCP management, AWS management, and VMware management.
