What made you choose to go into computer programming? What are you doing with your degree now?

I was fascinated by computers and video games growing up in the late 1970s and early 1980s. After graduating high school in 1986, it became clear that computers played an increasing role in every business. I switched majors during college and decided to try programming. I found that I loved the challenge of solving business problems using software solutions and that programming was a great career choice. This has been the case for over 25 years. Programming is something I enjoy and the puzzle-solving aspect of my job is still my favorite aspect.
